In this hypothetical scenario, ZCash, a cryptocurrency company, needed a new logo and website. Using the design brief. I began by researching the existing company and its values. Words that stood out to me were shielded transactions and privacy. I wanted to use the company values in their logo, so I started sketching and incorporating those words into the design, trying different styles, wordmarks, letter marks, and combination marks.
In Progress
After designing the logo, it came time to start working on the branding. This project required us to change the brand colors to fit our new logos. Using my research of the company and its competitors, I found that colors like blue represent trustworthiness and youthfulness in orange. Those colors would work well to represent the new ZCash brand.
Once the new logo was ready, I began working on the new website layout. As someone who doesn’t know much about cryptocurrency, I wanted to simplify the design and make navigating more accessible for people like me.
