For this project, the assignment was to create an infographic for a sport played in the Winter Olympics. Choose different aspects of the sport and compare data to previous years. Given a list of winter sports, I chose speed skating. With little knowledge about the sport, much research needed to be done.
After researching and gaining my data, I began sketching layouts. The challenging part about this assignment was all the text and graphs that needed to be included and being able to create a hierarchy. With numerous layout designs, I finally figured out a way to have all the information easily readable. My favorite element of this design is how I connected the design aspects and the data.
