Waggers is a dog product company. Choosing an already heavy industry I needed to set my company apart. What sets this brand apart from others is the packaging. The products I selected are for dog treats, poop bags, and dog food. There was a lot of time spent on research, looking a competitors and the types of packaging they use for each product. Something I noticed about other companies is the lack of accessibility; products are either hard to open, not resealable, or the packaging isn’t reusable.

When choosing the type of packaging containers for the items I wanted to put accessibility as my main goal. Each product's packaging is easy to open and reusable. The Waggers packaging design is playful and uses untraditional colors to attract consumers. I chose to do this to make my products stand out on a shelf. A unique characteristic of the Waggers brand is the barcode. Most barcodes are white and rectangular. Wagger’s barcodes interact with the product.
